Party Wall Surveyors
We can act as party wall surveyors for either the building owner or the adjoining owner, or as "agreed surveyor" for both parties. We offer a preliminary appraisal service where we will assess your Party Wall Act requirements (if you are the building owner), and make an informal approach to your neighbour(s) to establish whether they are prepared to consent to the works, in which case significant costs to the building owner can be avoided. Very often, we find that such an approach from an independent third party is all that is required for a reluctant neighbour to consent. In the event of a dispute, however, we can undertake all necessary condition surveys and prepare full Party Wall Awards to enable the building owner to proceed with the project swiftly, without hindrance and with minimal risk to the neighbour.
